Balkan Pure Playlist

Balkan as music genre stands for a colorful mix of traditional styles. It combines gypsy music and folk music from many different east european countries, epochs and cultures. It’s excellent music for dacha parties, but it works also in the club as remixed versions and it invites to exuberant parties. Polka, Klezmer, Ska and even Punk Rock have already been mixed with Balkan style and further developed to new styles.

Our Balkan Pure Playlist includes only handmade music and it’s hosted by Troy Savoy (Cirque de la nuit), one of the heads behind the Goulash Disko promoters from Austria.

The Balkans, also known as the Balkan Peninsula, is a geographic area in Southeast Europe with various definitions and meanings, including geopolitical and historical. The region takes its name from the Balkan Mountains that stretch throughout the whole of Bulgaria from the Serbian–Bulgarian border to the Black Sea coast!
