Review – Keep On Smilin

Producer Wolfgang Lohr’s new track, ‘Keep on Smilin’ has the audience grooving to its intensity of electronic swing house strains set across a lyrical course.

Music producer, composer, DJ, and remixer, Wolfgang Lohr is back with new collaborations and a resonating scope of Electro Swing, House, Tech House, and Deep House genres. He recently collaborated with artists Emma Lea and Ashley Slater for his newly released song, ‘Keep on Smilin’, a positive and optimistic approach towards the contemporary musical glory. Apart from the two singers, the song also collaborates artists like Martin Scheran on the saxophone, Alex Valdés on trumpet (DELADAP), Guglielmo Cassinelli (Free Shots band) on guitar, with Ashley Slater contributing to trombone essentials.

Based out of Berlin, Germany, the producer is back with a fresh electro-swing model for the New Year with ‘Keep on Smilin’. It is also the soundtrack of season 1 of the Electro Swing Academy – Dance Tutorials video series. The arrangement of the song utilizes an undulating combination alongside the instrumental edge of trumpet, trombone, and saxophone. The intense bassline compels the audience to groove to its catchy and instantly-attractive rhythmic and tonal variations.

Artist Wolfgang Lohr lives for the moment through his music and his association with the label, Electro Swing Thing Records. His utilization of mixed influences in his song such as ‘Hit the Road Jack’, ‘Party Like Its 1920’, and ‘Re-Charleston’ have paved the way for a new age of musical concepts. He has truly revolutionized mainstream swing and house into a diverse variety of musical and genre sub-categorization. As he continues to expand his relative canvas, the audience cannot wait to savor more of his creative content.
