Emma Lea

Emma Lea is signed singer songwriter from London UK. Emma’s first signed track in 2008 was with the well established dance production duo, Dab Hands called “Something Come to Nothing” which made it to the BBC Radio One Radio playlist and became Pete Tongs song of the week, aswell as featuring on (saturday prime time) the BBC Radio One Vernon Kay’s afternoon show.

Since then she has had many signs within the dance genre and has released tracks with the likes of Hed Kandi, Moda Music, Joshua Roberts (Select Radio), Danny Kirsch (Katie Melua), Zu:ma, S-Project and more. In 2017 Emma changed musical direction and discovered the world of Electro Swing and never looked back. Since then, she has written and featured with the UKs No1 Electro Swing producer Jamie Berry with “Devil in The Detail” for his last album “Frenzy”.

She’s also released over 5 successful tracks within Electro Swing, with her biggest success being with the infamous Wolfgang Lohr and Ashley Slater (Freak Power) with “Keep on Smilin”, which also features as the theme tune for the “Electro Swing Thing – Dance Tutorials with Smilin” and stayed at the No.1 spot in the Electro Swing charts for over a month. Since then she has written and recorded for the likes of Tom Hyland (Electric Swing Circus), Duke Skellington, Atom Smith, Riff Kitten, LVDS, Odd Chap, Bart & Baker and many more, along with her debut album, signed to the well respected Ragtime Records and will be released in 2023.
